I have been helping women and families to achieve their birth goals for almost 20 years. I received my Labor Doula certification through DONA International and Postpartum Doula certification with CAPPA. Additionally I have attended Lactation Educator training through CAPPA and have completed the Advanced Practice Birth Support Program through Cocoon Birth at Mountain Midwifery Birth Center and am a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). I completed Hypnodoula certification in 2016 and am studying how Ayurvedic foods and practices can help new mamas recover, connect and thrive during their first 6 weeks postpartum.

While I believe that an un-medicated birth is best for mama and baby, and provides the best chance of fully experiencing the power of birth, I recognize that it is not always an option or most comfortable for everyone.
